Children's Development Connection

PRESCHOOL AND DAYCARE COSTS

1. The cost of your child's care and education will be determined as follows:

A. All day daycare (includes preschool for children 3 and over):

$ 36.00 per day for infants
$180.00 per week for infants
$ 31.00 per day for toddlers
$155.00 per week
$ 28.40 per day for preschoolers and schoolers when not in school
$142.00 per week

B. Preschool only:

$ 19.00 per day

(Preschoolers may participate in the lunch program at an additional cost of $1.00 per day.)

C. Before and after school:

$ 6.50 per hour for one child
$ 10.00 per hour for two children (same family)
$12.50 per hour for three children (same family)

(There will be a $ 1.00 per day charge for children in need of transportation to and from school.)

2. There is no charge if your child does not attend. The only exception to this rule will be infants in the infant room, who must pay the regular daily rate whether in attendance or not. They will be allowed one week's vacation to use during their child's stay in the infant room. However, the infant must attend CDC for at least three months before this can be used.

3. Families with two full time children, one of which is not an infant, will be given a 10% discount off the daily rate. A discount does not apply to the infant room rate, however, the second child in the family will receive the 10% discount. Before and after school children are not eligible for the 10% discount.

4. Additional charges will be assessed after 6:00 PM at the rate of $ 5.00 per every five (5) minutes late. In emergency situations, previous arrangement may be made with the staff.

5. There will be a $35.00 fee assessed for all returned checks.

6. Payment for daycare charges is expected either at the end of every week or through prior arrangement, every other week. Due to past abuse, I am now forced to ask you to strictly adhere to these guidelines.

7. Parents will be charged for six holidays a year, whether it is a day your child normally attends or not. These six holidays will also be charged if they fall on a weekend, if CDC is closed the day before or the day after the holiday. These holidays are: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
